This is an example of a drag and drop website something like the Windows desktop enviroment. I'd love your feedback if you feel so inclined. Enjoy. Sorry for the old code, it was written in 2001, I'm updating it as I'm able.

Birth and Near Death of a Cyber Star
...The human internet

...Human capital
In 2000 we were a company with a future, having been recently purchased by About.com (Nasdaq: BOUT) We had attracted incredible talent unlike anything I'd ever seen in a single company. Stock: $105.00/share

As 2000 wore on dot coms dropped left and right. While some folks were suggesting that we were strong, we were busy shedding our ".com" ...uh, and most of our people. Um, I think it's called "personal" sacrifice, not "personnel" sacrifice ...must have been a typo.

Whatever the reason a lot of really good people and their families were hurt badly. It's painful to watch children be the ones to be called on to sacrifice their future, ...ah capitalism.
Stock: $1.50/share

In 2007 we're siblings to such brands as NetZero and Juno, giants of their day, and hopefully players again with the announcement of affordable DSL. (Nasdaq: UNTD)

Mysterious Mountains of ...Mystery
Superstition Mountain, Arizona

Devil's Tower, Wyoming

Superstition Mountain is an enigma for me. I remember visiting the mountain with my dad as a child, hoping to stumble across the Lost Dutchman's gold. In my young mind it felt like we'd hiked all day when we crested the saddle and got a glimpse of the Weever's Needle. It was exhausting and magical. As an adult, I often wish I could re-visit my childhood. I returned to the mountain with my children and hiked all day (waiting for the slower feet of children). When we crested the saddle, exhausted, and saw the Weevers Needle I realized, "this is magic".

Devil's Tower is another of those magical keys. I didn't understand Close Encounters (as a child, or as an adult ;-) but I thought the mountain the Dreyfuss character molded from mashed potatoes was amazing. As it turns out, the real thing is astounding. As a child, I just wanted to see the mountain, as an adult, I'd like to climb a route, explore the top, and look outward to appreciate the surrounding landscape.
